Walking Trail Through Palm Beach Shores

Posted by Amanda Hicks on Monday, April 30th, 2018 at 4:15pm.

In the middle of Palm Beach Shores, a tiny town at the southern end of Singer Island, there's a beautiful walking trail with an Old Florida feel and gorgeous views in every direction.

Palm Beach Shores is a peninsula surrounded by the Lake Worth Lagoon the the west, Atlantic Ocean to the east, and Palm Beach Inlet to the south. The walking/biking trail starts at Bamboo Road and Park Avenue near a large fountain and ends at a historic jetty marking the easternmost point of Florida.

The trail is about a mile long and passes by Town Hall, two marinas, and houses that'll wow you. There are massive banyan trees along the trail as well as benches, pretty landscaping and vintage buildings and restaurants reminiscent of the Old Florida days. Look to the right and you'll see Peanut Island and the Florida mainland. If you look left you'll see blue waves crashing on the shore and sea birds flying overhead.

The perfect spring weather offers a great opportunity to explore the town of Palm Beach Shores and see the beauty of Singer Island on this short recreation trail. Learn more about Palm Beach Shores here.
